No establishments closed in May

No retail, eating, and drinking establishments in the CNMI were found with any serious violations of health and sanitation standards in inspections done last May.

Most of the establishments inspected obtained a “Grade A” rating, which means a score of 90-100. Grade B is a score of 80-89, while Grade C is 70-79. The lowest score usually means the closure or suspension of an establishment’s license. For these establishments, the Bureau of Environmental Health provides the suspension date and the date they were certified to resume operations.

The inspections are done monthly by BEH, a division of the Commonwealth Health Care Corp.
