NMTech to do outreaches on Tinian and Rota

Beginning next week, the Northern Marianas Technical Institute will be visiting Tinian and Rota to meet with several officials, and students who are taking culinary arts classes through their respective island’s high schools.

NMTech marketing and outreach coordinator Benjamin Babauta said Wedneday that NMTech’s leadership will be meeting with each of the islands’ mayors, the resident directors of the Department of Commerce on Tinian and Rota, the Northern Marianas College’s Tinian and Rota campuses, and culinary arts students who are taking classes at Tinian Jr./Sr. High School on Tinian and Dr. Rita H. Inos Jr./Sr. High School on Rota.

According to Babauta, NMTech will be visiting Tinian on Jan. 24 to Jan. 25 and will be holding a town hall meeting at TJSHS on Jan. 24 at 6:30pm.

NMTech will be visiting Rota on Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 and will be holding a town hall meeting at the Sinapalo Youth Center on Jan. 31 at 6:30pm.
