NMSA Sports Banquet set for April 19

The Northern Marianas Sports Association will recognize athletes and officials for their achievements in 2021 at the NMSA Annual Sports Banquet scheduled for April 19 at the Kensington Hall of Kensington Hotel Saipan.
The NMSA will honor the Male and Female Student Athletes of the Year, Male and Female Athletes of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Administrator of the Year. The association will also fete the monthly winners under the athletes and team categories, while NMSA’s Hall of Fame Screening Committee will announce the new inductees into the NMI Sports Hall of Fame.
“We are excited to welcome our athletes, coaches, guests, and other members of the NMI sports community to the NMSA Annual Sports Banquet. We know the challenges we’ve been going through in the last two years due to the pandemic, but our athletes and officials are doing their best to return to training and competitions and work on getting their respective sports to the next level. The NMSA recognizes these efforts and we would like to honor and thank them for their commitment to their sports through this awards banquet,” NMSA president Jerry Tan said.
Winners of the Male and Female Student Athletes of the Year, Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and Team of the Year would come from the monthly awardees list, while Coach of the Year and Administrator of the Year award winners were selected by NMSA-member federations.
The NMSA Annual Sports Banquet will start at 6pm. (PR)
