NMIS announces social media accounts
The Northern Marianas International School community can now be found in most of the popular social media outlets. “Social media is increasingly a primary source of information. The use of these channels by our system and schools will allow for more constant, and two-way communication with our parents and community members,” said NMIS vice principal Jener A. Pineda.

Last year, NMIS reached 2,000 likes on its official Facebook page and 3,000 followers on its the Twitter account.
Another social media tool the school recently launched is a YouTube Channel. It features the official NMIS music video with the soundtrack Happy by Pharrell Williams. Other videos are from the K-3 and K-5 students titled In the Eyes of a Child by Air Supply, and the Farewell Song of the 6th and 8th graders.
“Be part of our community and feel free to interact with us, leave comments or post inquiries you may have and our online community will be happy to assist you,” Pineda said.
