NMI Crime Stoppers softball tournament and Delta Air Lines raffle a huge success
The NMI Crime Stoppers would like to thank all players, spectators and sponsors of this year’s fundraising softball tournament.
This year 14 teams challenged each other for the most desired TOM & JERRY/NMI Crime Stoppers Trophy and bragging rights as champion of the most anticipated softball tournament of the year. Played over three days, this double elimination tourney, provided spectators with some of the hottest softball action in recent years.

Crime Stoppers wants to thank its sponsors for their generous contributions to the tournament: DFS, Brabu Pharmacy, I Love Saipan/Star Sands Plaza, Megabyte, AON Insurance, IT&E, Pacific Amusement, Marianas Variety, CUC, PIC, Shell/IP&E, Marpac, Docomo, and Delta Air Lines.
Delta Air Lines also donated $1,000 in travel vouchers that were raffled of to the public in another way for the residents of the NMI to show their support for this valuable program. The raffle drawing was on Sunday during the championship game and the lucky winner was Junping Woodruff. Proceeds from the tournament and raffle go to assist with NMI Crime Stoppers’ annual operation budget.
NMI Crime Stoppers was founded in 1989 and collaborates with the media, law enforcement, and the community to provide a contact number and website accessible to everyone to report information about crime in the NMI and elsewhere.
