NMDC to host forum for gubernatorial bets
The Northern Marianas Descent Corp., its board, and corporation president Herman R. Deleon Guerrero announced Friday that it will be hosting its first Gubernatorial / Lt. Gubernatorial Forum on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupi, from 6pm to 8:30pm.
The forum is sponsored by NMDC in association with and with assistance from the Associated Students of Northern Marianas College and Northern Marianas College, who will serve as moderators, ushers, and timekeepers.
NMDs represent the majority of registered voters in the NMI and are unequivocally a politically, legally, constitutionally recognized political and cultural group and collective landowners of their homeland.
The forum is another opportunity to listen to, learn from, and understand the perspectives and positions of the four gubernatorial tandem candidates who are aspiring to lead the Northern Marianas over the next four, and possibly eight, years.
The NMDs and general public are invited to attend the forum for free and become better informed and educated voters.
