NMC’s spring 2017 semester dates

The Northern Marianas College is reminding all of its current students and other individuals who are interested in enrolling for its upcoming spring 2017 semester about the following key dates:

Dec. 30, 2016: Admission application deadline

Ongoing until Jan. 13, 2017: Registration for ongoing and new/ readmitted students via Proa Portal

Jan. 9 -13, 2017: Late registration/ advising period

Jan. 5, 2017: Prior Learning Assessment Program info session, 5:30pm (Room D-1)

9:30am or 1:30pm (Room N-5)


Jan. 3-6, 2017: 9:30am or 1:30pm (Room N-5)

Jan. 9-12, 2017: 9:30am or 1:30pm (Room N-5)

Jan. 6, 2017: Orientation for new and international students:

Jan. 17, 2017: First day of class for spring 2017

The college offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis on elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management, and associate degrees in business administration (emphasis on accounting, business management or computer applications), liberal arts, nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management.

Northern Marianas College will also be highlighting its Credit for Prior Learning Program at an info session at 5:30pm on January 5, 2017 (Room D1). Anyone interested in learning more about this program is invited to attend.
