NMC to host fall 2012 student orientations
The Northern Marianas College will be hosting student orientations for the upcoming fall 2012 semester on Aug. 1, 8, and 9, 2012.
The student orientations are hosted to assist new or returning (re-admitted to NMC) students learn more about various educational programs, services and resources available at the college. The orientations will also provide students the opportunity to meet NMC staff, faculty, and other students before the start of the fall semester.
The first student orientation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, from 9am to 12:30pm in Room D-1 located across the NMC Bookstore at the NMC As Terlaje campus.
The next student orientations are scheduled on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, from 9am to 12:30pm in Room D-1, and on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, from 4pm to 7:30pm with the location to be announced at a later date. Students may attend any information session.
Participation in a student orientation is a requirement for enrollment. New or returning students who do not attend a student orientation will not be able to register for courses during the week of fall 2012 registration, which begins on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012.

NMC is also reminding new students who have not applied for admission that the deadline to apply for admission to NMC is on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
