Students who are looking for help in finding money to pay for college are encouraged to attend the upcoming Cash for College workshops hosted by Northern Marianas College.
Participants will be provided with personal, step-by-step assistance in completing college financial aid forms, focusing on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, CNMI Scholarship, Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance, Tinian Municipal Scholarship, Rota Municipal Scholarship, and the TEACH Grant.
Workshop participants can also have their financial aid documents notarized and photocopied, free of charge.
The Cash for College event will be held on Tinian, Rota, and Saipan on the following dates:
Jan. 17: Tinian NMC campus, from 10am to 2pm
Jan. 24 and 25: Rota NMC campus, from 10am to 4pm on Jan. 24 and from 8am to 12pm on Jan. 25
