NMC students seeking financial aid are urged to avail of FAFSA
New college students who are looking to access federal financial aid for the Northern Marianas College’s fall and spring semesters are encouraged to file a 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Students should submit a FAFSA before the fall semester starts on Aug. 16, 2021.
Qualified students can receive up to $6,495 in federal financial aid for the academic year. The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
Through the program’s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.
The FAFSA is available online at fafsa.ed.gov and can also be completed by using the myStudentAid smartphone app available for iOS and Android. NMC’s school code is 015746.
To verify eligibility for Pell Grants, applicants can contact the NMC Financial Aid Office through email at fao@marianas.edu or call 237-6791. Applicants can also stop by the Financial Aid Office from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
