NMC student orientation on Jan. 6

Share

The Northern Marianas College will be conducting student orientations for the upcoming spring 2017 semester on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, for new, readmitted, and international students at two different times: the first session will be from 9am to 12pm and the second session will be from 1pm to 4pm. Both sessions will be held in Building D1 at NMC’s As Terlaje campus.

The student orientations are conducted to assist new, re-admitted students, and international students learn more about the registration process, various educational programs, services and resources available at the college.

The student orientations will also provide students the opportunity to meet NMC staff, faculty and other students before the start of the spring semester.

Participation in a student orientation is a requirement for enrollment. New or returning students who do not attend a student orientation will not be able to register for spring 2017 courses.

Students who are absolutely unable to attend an orientation session in person can view the following orientation clips at www.marianas.edu. After watching the videos, students must complete a questionnaire, which they can obtain from testing services at Building I. Students must then submit their completed questionnaire to the Office of Admissions and Records at Building N in order to have their registration hold removed.

Northern Marianas College will also be highlighting its Credit for Prior Learning Program at an info session at 5:30pm on Jan. 5, 2017 (Room D1). Anyone interested in learning more about this program is invited to attend.
