NMC all set for tomorrow’s Career Fair
Three more companies have signed on to recruit for new employees at tomorrow’s Career Fair at the Northern Marianas College: Triple J Saipan, Marianas Health, and YCO. They will be joining many other companies who have already confirmed their participation.
“We’ve signed up additional companies and we are ready for Thursday’s Career Fair,” said Neda Deleon Guerrero, Career Services manager.
The Career Fair is aimed at helping individuals who are looking for jobs to meet and connect with private sector companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies that are looking to fill key vacancies within their organizations.
Community members who are seeking jobs are encouraged to attend. There is no charge to participate at the Career Fair.
The following organizations have also confirmed their participation in Thursday’s Career Fair: Employment Services and WIA (Workforce Investment Agency), Hyatt Regency Saipan, Sorensen Media group, CDI Workforce Development, Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority, DFS Saipan, and the CNMI Office of Personnel Management.
Additionally, J.C. Tenorio Enterprises, Pacific Islands Club, Commonwealth Utilities Corp., CNMI Head Start Program, Public School System, Pacifica Insurance, Northern Marianas College Human Resources, College Access Challenge Grant, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence will also be there to recruit for employees or to provide information about their organizations.
“We are really excited that many companies have signed up to be a part of this year’s Career Fair,” said Deleon Guerrero. “I hope that job seekers take advantage of this event by coming to meet with prospective employers.”
The event will be held Thursday, April 3, from 9am to 12pm in NMC’s Room D1.
Individuals who plan on attending the Career Fair but have no transportation are encouraged to call the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority to request for free transportation to and from the fair. Jobseekers who need rides must make a reservation by calling 664-2690, texting 483-4344, or emailing cnmicallaride@gmail.com.
