The Northern Marianas College would resume classes for the fall 2018 semester at Saipan Southern High School starting today.

Only the afternoon, evening, and Saturday classes of the college are affected by the new schedule, according to a college announcement over the weekend.

Super Typhoon Yutu in late October forced the college to shut down temporarily.

In an announcement on their social media page, NMC noted that classes would open from Dec. 3, 2018 to Dec. 15. A holiday break from Dec. 17 through Jan. 5 would follow, with final exams week on Feb. 4, 2019 through Feb. 9, 2019.

Morning classes would be starting on Jan. 7, 2019.

While the announcement is already stated in their social media page, NMC warns that all of the dates are subject to sudden change.

The NMC Spring 2019 semester would be set back a few months, starting from Feb. 18, 2019, through Feb. 23, 2019, for the first week of instruction. Classes are expected to continue until April 15, 2019 through April 20, 2019, where NMC would go on spring break.

May 27, 2019 through June 1, 2019, would be the last week of instruction for the 2019 NMC spring semester, while final exam week follows right after from June 3, 2019 through June 8, 2019.
