NMC Open Golf Tournament returns on March 20

Northern Marianas College’s 16th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament, which was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held on March 20 on the east course of the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Originally scheduled in 2019, the tournament was canceled because of the impact of Super Typhoon Yutu and was rescheduled for March last year. However, the Covid-19 pandemic caused the tournament to be postponed again.
The tournament fee for this year’s golf open is $120. Payments can be made at the NMC Cashier at the college’s As Terlaje campus or at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. A registration form along with information about the tournament can be found at www.marianas.edu/2021golftournament.
There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies. There will be lots of great prizes and awards to players and sponsors. Interested players are encouraged to register early as lots are limited.
Individuals who were registered for the golf tournament last year do not need to register again. However, those who want to update their player information can email NMC Foundation coordinator Carla Sablan at carla.sablan@marianas.edu.
