NMC hosts spring student orientations on Jan. 6, 12
The Northern Marianas College will be hosting student orientations for the upcoming spring 2012 semester on Friday, Jan. 6, and on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012.
The first orientation on Jan. 6 is for all international NMC students. There will be two sessions: 9:30am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 4pm at the NMC Student Center in Building J. Students may attend either session.
During the event, application procedures for international NMC students will be discussed including immigration matters for F type student visa holders, academic requirements, as well as the spring 2012 registration process.
The next student orientation for all new and returning NMC students will be hosted on Jan. 12. There will be two sessions: 9am to 12pm and 4pm to 7pm at the NMC Library in Building O. Students may attend either session.
The orientations will also inform students about the various programs, services, and resources available at the college. It will feature representatives from the different programs and offices of the Student Services division, such as Counseling and Disability Support, Career Services, Financial Aid. Information about the registration process for the spring 2012 semester will also be shared.
Registration for the upcoming spring 2012 semester will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Class schedules, placement test schedules, the academic calendar, and other important information are currently available online at www.nmcnet.edu.
