NMC Health Fair this Saturday

Community members receive free blood pressure assessments at last year’s annual health fair. This year’s 9th annual NMC Health Fair will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center from 8am to 12pm and will feature a 5K walk at 6am. (NMC)
The Northern Marianas College Nursing Club is reminding community members about its health fair this Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, from 8am to 12pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.
The health fair will feature a number of free health activities including blood pressure and glucose assessments as well as flu immunizations and health counseling. The health fair will also have a 5K Walk from 6am to 8am. Registration for the 5K Walk will begin at 5:30am. Entrance to the health fair and the 5K Walk are free.
The CHCC Immunization Program, the Division of Youth Services, Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, the Commonwealth Cancer Association, Department of Youth Services, and Hardt Eye Clinic will be joining other organizations that will be hosting information and demonstration booths.
The health fair is supported with the assistance from the CNMI Area Health Education Center and other NMC and community volunteers.
