NMC Foundation Open reset to June 30

The Northern Marianas College Foundation has moved back the date for its 10th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament to June 30.
The tournament will still be held at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort’s west course and will commence with a 7am shotgun start.
The tournament has been the organization’s signature event for the past decade. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to support and enhance a number the college’s programs and services. The tournament will utilize a medal-play format.
In addition to first, second. and third place prizes for the Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies flight podium finishers, the competition will also feature some significant hole-in-one prizes for any lucky golfer who manages to sink a hole-in-one shot at the designated sites.
The entrance fee is set at $95 per player. Interested players are also invited to bring their family, friends, and playing partners for a fantastic day of fun and fundraising for a good cause.
Registration forms can be downloaded from www.nmcnet.edu, or hard copies can be obtained in person at the at Marianas Country Club, Saipan Country Club, Dan Dan Golf Range, Kingfisher Golf Links, Coral Ocean Point, and All Star Sporting Goods.
Registration payments can be completed at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, Triple J Motors or at NMC’s Cashier office.
The NMC Foundation is also asking more companies or individuals who can contribute Education Tax Credit, monetary, or in-kind donations to help sponsor the tournament.
A special sponsors’ reception will be held before the tournament. Those interested in sponsoring the event or who are interested in registering to play can contact the Northern Marianas College at 234-5498, ext. 1502.
The NMC Foundation is composed of volunteers in the community who are committed to improving and enhancing higher education opportunities for people in the CNMI.
