The Northern Marianas College annual report for 2014 is still under review, but the college hopes to finalize it this week, according to director of Institutional Effectiveness Jacqueline Che.

The report will “highlight the positives of 2014,” according to Che. Positives include the launch of a new bachelor’s degree in business management, and the earning of accreditation status under the WASC Senior College and University commission.

The report will cover how the college works in “meeting workforce needs,” according to Che, and will describe the number of students served or trained under these initiatives.

After, they will share it with the NMC’s Board of Regents for review, she said. They will also share it with the Legislature, she said.

The college aims to meet with legislators next week Tuesday, according to college president Dr. Sharon Hart yesterday.
