NMC Career Fair set for this Friday

Community members and students interested in exploring employment opportunities are encouraged to participate at Northern Marianas College’s annual Career Fair this Friday, May 4, 2018.

The event will be held at the Saipan World Resort Royal Taga Ballroom from 9am to 12pm. The fair is free and open to the public.

The Northern Marianas College Career Fair provides students, graduates, and interested community members the opportunity to connect with the various businesses in the private and public sectors on island. Participants will not only be exposed to a broad range of employers, but it will also give an opportunity to network and build business relationships.

More than 50 companies confirmed their participation at the annual Career Fair and will be looking to hire. These companies include Ace Professional Corporation, Asia Pacific Hotel Incorporated, Century Tours Incorporated, Cha, Civil Service Commission-Office of Personnel Management, CNMI Public School System, CNMI Scholarship Office, Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, DCCA- Division of Youth Services, Delta Management Corporation, Department of Fire & EMS, Department of Public Lands, DFS Saipan, DHS US Customs and Border Protection, DOL-Workforce Investment Agency Division, Ete Cafe, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, G4S, and Hyatt Regency Saipan.

Those who plan on attending the Career Fair are encouraged to dress appropriately as if they would for an interview and come prepared with updated copies of their resumes. Additional tips and recommendations are also listed on NMC’s website.
