NMBA members compete in Guam

Fourteen members of the Northern Marianas Badminton Association left Saipan yesterday to play in the Badminton Invitational Guam 2019 this weekend.

The group is bannered by CNMI National Team members Nate Guerrero, Janelle and Jordan Pangilinan, Nicole Malasarte, Andreu Galvez, and Ezekiel and Daniel Macario, who competed in the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa last summer. Completing the NMBA delegation are Charlie Borja, Miles Guerrero, Patrick and Windy Fernandez, Jaja Bocago, Chris Hilario, Edwin Montoya, and Shirley Kim.

The Badminton Invitational Guam 2019 will run from Oct. 11 to 13 at the John F. Kennedy High School Gymnasium. It is sanctioned by the Guam National Badminton Federation and will feature competitions in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles in U17 age group, open division, and class C (recreational) divisions.
