New SBL season to start Jan. 12

Saipan Baseball League coordinator Tony Rogolifo is asking all interested teams to begin their preparations for the upcoming season, which is tentatively set on Jan. 12.

The Francisco M. “Tan Ko” Palacios baseball field is ready to host the games after undergoing renovation thanks to funds donated by various generous contributors.

Rogolifoi said teams should also start ordering their uniforms and check him for waiver forms that are already available at the NMSA office inside the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Entrance fee is $1,000 and teams are allowed to submit a 25-member roster.
