New director takes reins of Yonsei Academy; school offers expanded instrument options

Yonsei Academy, the renowned music institution on Saipan, announced yesterday the appointment of Minsoo Joe as the new director and Choi Somin as the piano instructor, allowing the school to now offer lessons for various instruments beyond the piano.
Minsoo brings a wealth of expertise to the academy, with a bachelor’s degree in Orchestral Studies from Chungnam National University, a master’s degree in Music Education from the Graduate School of Chungnam National University, and experience as a conductor for the instrumental section at the Seongmo Elementary School.
Choi contributes her expertise and artistic flair to Yonsei Academy as an accomplished piano instructor. With a strong background in classical piano and a passion for fostering creativity, Choi is eager to guide students on their musical journey, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
