The Masters division of the Bud Light-Saipan Electronic Darts Association Winter/Spring 2016 season is turning out to be a two-cornered fight between the Jokers Nakayoshi and the Doro’s Dart Daddies.

The Nakayoshi coasted to a 12-3 trouncing of the Doro’s Darteros, while the Dart Daddies escaped with a 9-8 decision against the 6JMS Pythons in last week’s matches in the six divisions this season held in various bars on the island.

The Jokers-backed squad, after Jeff Barit lost his opening Singles Regular Cricket match against the Darteros’ Renato Barros, went on to win nine of the last 11 games to seal the win and foil their opponents’ upset bid.

The win hiked the Nakayoshi’s record to 64-38 or four wins ahead of the Dart Daddies’ 60-42 card. The Pythons are in third with a 52-50 slate, while the Darteros complete the cast of the four-team field with a lowly 28-74 mark.

Barit bounced back from that loss with victories in the Partners 701, with partner K.J. Villagomez, and in the Singles Half-It events against Omar Quindoza. Barit and Villagomez dispatched the Darteros’ tandem of Barros and Quindoza.

In the Darteros-Pythons match, the winning team was decided in the Team event as 6JMS’ Eric Durano tied the count at 8-8 after beating Doro’s Willy Cuesta in the final Singles 501 match.

Pam Ybanez, Jun Olita, Cris Monsanto and Ben Aguon defeated the quartet of Burth Dacumos, Ronald Doria, George Medina and Durano. The rest of the results of last week’s games are as follows:
