My frustration
On June 22, 2012, Attorney General Ed Buckingham appeared in the evening newscast and made a statement to the media by saying retirees’ pension might be reduce. As a retiree, I would like to ask Mr. Buckingham what would he feel if the same situation happens to him. Imagine the impact or suffering and anxiety to all the retirees and their families. In my own words, the court system should impose jail sentences to all those persons responsible for the mess at the Retirement Fund. If the government fail to pay its debts and refuse to follow the court order then those who are responsible are in contempt of court. In the court system, it is said it is impossible because government is not a person but, believe me, those who created the mess are people. For example in a court trial, the plaintiff lawyer says the gun that killed John Doe is mine, but my attorney argues that I am not the one who pulled the trigger. So in this situation, the government is the gun and the one who pulled the trigger is the one who is responsible. I truly believe that incarcerating this person responsible would satisfy all the retirees and, believe me, I would be one of the first to shout out loud and jump for joy. I also truly believe in my instinct that someone had planned this retirement situation all alone.
