MVA website offers membership registration, payment
For the first time, new and returning members of the Marianas Visitors Authority can register and make payment online.
The MVA is renewing existing members for the new fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2018, and inviting new businesses and individuals to join the state tourism agency. Accounts can be registered and paid at the MVA’s new English website at www.mymarianas.com.
MVA membership is $100 per year. Benefits of membership include: business listing on the MVA’s language-specific websites in Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Taiwan, and English; opportunities for business brochure distribution at MVA offices in the Marianas and internationally; opportunities to participate in travel and trade shows, sales seminars, and familiarization tours; detailed visitor data through monthly statistics reports; nomination and voting rights for the MVA board of directors; the opportunity to be a supplier or contractor for the MVA; and the opportunity to serve on ad hoc committees.
“The Marianas Visitors Authority currently has 313 members, the largest membership in the MVA’s 42-year history. This gives a sense of how much the tourism industry has recovered over that period and how much our tourism partners have contributed to the success of the work of the MVA,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “Whether it be cooperation in marketing, signature events, destination enhancement, or any of the many other projects we undertake, we value and thank our members for being a part of creating a successful tourism economy. We welcome all interested partners.”
