The Marianas Visitors Authority is joining forces with other government and tourism industry partners to give a warm “hafa adai yan tirow” welcome to passenger cruise ship Queen Mary II, arriving tomorrow, March 15, on Saipan.

The MVA, Commonwealth Council for Arts & Culture, and Dept. of Community and Cultural Affairs’ Garapan Street Market will welcome the Queen Mary II with local vendors selling food, arts, and crafts at Smiling Cove Marina.

“Visitors arriving via ships are an important part of our overall tourism arrivals, and we’re pleased to welcome the Queen Mary II to our beautiful islands,” said MVA Community Projects manager Martin Duenas.

The British flagship carries over 3,600 passengers and crew and will be in Saipan for the day. (MVA)
