The Marianas Visitors Authority has launched a newly designed English website at www.mymarianas.com. The new site is more user-friendly and features new images from the MVA’s growing library of photographs and images captured by visiting media.
“We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new English website, featuring new, stunning images of the Marianas and updated content on the destination,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “The website targets both English-speaking visitors, such as those from Guam or U.S., who plan to visit the Marianas. At the same time, we offer features for our local population, such as a new community calendar of events, reports, job vacancies, and more. We invite everyone to bookmark www.mymarianas.com today to use or share.”
For the first time, the new website also features the Northern Islands on its homepage, in recognition of the islands’ small but incremental growth as a destination for FIT travelers.
“The MVA website aims to keep the community and its members up-to-date with events and information. We have enhanced our members’ portal to include exclusive reports only available to our members. Visitors can download and access our island maps, Official Marianas Guide Certification, Beautify My Marianas, and much more,” said MVA marketing manager Broc Calvo.
The website includes information on accommodations, activities, historic and scenic sites. Other information on the site includes a list of MVA members, job vacancy announcements and procurement announcements, news and reports, and the Marianas Calendar, the first comprehensive on-line calendar of public events in the islands based on user-generated content. Content may now be found more easily within the website via a search function on the homepage.
The MVA also operates other language-specific websites in Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Russia. (MVA)
