The Marianas Visitors Authority joined Dynasty Holiday at the China International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) 2017 in Guangzhou on Sept. 8-10, 2017, to showcase The Marianas.
This year’s 7th CITIE, organized by the Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province, was held in the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex and attracted over 200 exhibitors, nearly double the number of last year’s exhibitors. Participants included global and domestic exhibitors from 55 countries and regions, as well as 22 mainland China provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions.
“CITIE provided a perfect opportunity to showcase the unique charms of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “We participated in the opening ceremony of the event and shared a booth with Dynasty Holiday to present the public and travel industry delegates with the many attractions, natural beauty, and cultures of The Marianas, as well as travel tips.”
The Marianas delegation was also interviewed by internet company Tencent. (MVA)
