Seven-year-old Keenon Togawa regained his spot at the top of the podium in the Peewee Class 2 (dirt bike) after ruling the combined event during the fifth leg of the Marianas Racing Association Series last Sunday at the former CowTown Raceway in Marpi.

Togawa, who prevailed in the series opener last month, finished ahead of Jonoah Santos in last weekend’s division contest and the nine other riders that raced together (Peewees 1 and 2 and Mini ATV). Togawa’s victory ended the streak of Santos, who clinched first place from the second to the fourth leg.

In the Mini ATV, Therese Borja got her third win and made it two in a row after beating Melvin Reyes and Brooklyn Susulin. Borja was third overall in the combined youth race behind Togawa and Santos.

T.J. Ferrer was fourth overall, but first in the Peewee Class 1 for also his first victory in the division. He outclassed Harley Susulin, Zane Fujihira, Cassidy Villagomez, Bently Koshiro, and Baby Joe Santos.

In the Minis 1 and 2, M.J. Camacho picked up where he left off for win No. 3 out of the five legs. Camacho finished ahead of Mari Alvarez, Ethan and Devin Yumul, and Edina Cepeda.

The Novice and Expert Open classes also had combined races, but had their respective division winners.

Cuki Alvarez was first overall and took the Expert Open Class top honors, downing son, Shane, and Angelo Hernaez. Corry Pangelinan was ranked fourth overall and first in the Novice Class, winning over Arthur Jebehn, Henry Camacho, Kier Agda, and Sus Santos. Franklin Santos finished fourth in the Expert Class and was followed by Patrick Togawa, Alepuyo, and Melvin Cepeda.
