Motheread Fatheread offers Literary Carnival 2017

CNMI Motheread Fatheread will be offering Carnival of Literacy 2017 at seven schools and the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library from January to March this year.

The carnival is composed of free family literacy classes that are facilitated through the lending of books and learning new strategies and techniques on reading to children. It includes Family Adult Course and Children’s Story Exploring Class, which is for ages 4 years old and 11 years old.

San Vicente (Jan. 4 and Feb. 22), Gregorio T. Camacho (Feb. 2 and March 23), Oleai (January and March), William S. Reyes (Jan. 10 and Feb. 28), Koblerville (Jan. 10 and Feb. 28), Kagman (Jan. 18 and March 8), and Garapan (January and March) elementary schools are the school venues, while JKPL will hold its own carnival on Jan. 21 and March 8.

Save for JKPL, all carnival events start at 5:30pm. JKPL’s events begin at 2:30pm.
