More Japan-Marianas charter flights by Skymark

Skymark Airlines Inc. has announced more charter flights from Japan to The Marianas, hoping to entice Japanese travelers to the Pacific island destination this summer.
Skymark will operate nine charter flights from Tokyo Narita International Airport to the Francisco C. Ada-Saipan International Airport in August and September. The flights will depart Narita daily on Aug. 9-14 and Sept. 20-22.
“We extremely excited to see more directly air service from Japan to The Marianas being announced by Skymark Airlines for the summer season,” said Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Priscilla M. Iakopo. “The revival of the Japan market remains a marketing and promotions priority for the MVA, as the market is critical to the growth of our tourism economy.”
The airline will operate B737-800 planes for the charters, each offering 177 economy class seats. Five top travel agencies who successfully sold Skymark charter flights in March and April are again selling the upcoming flights: H.I.S., JTB, KNT, Rakuten, and Skypack Tours. The flights will depart Tokyo Narita at 10am and depart Saipan at 4:40pm.
To support the charter flights, the MVA has also created a promotional landing page on its Japan website with links to travel agency booking pages. The MVA has launched digital advertisements for Rota, Tinian, and Saipan at major train stations in Tokyo. The digital display ran on June 24-June 7, 2019, and included the tagline, “Fly on Skymark charter flights to Saipan, only 3.5 hours away.” (MVA)
