Management of Kensington Hotel and Pacific Islands Club of the E-Land Group recently presented Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance with their emerald sponsorship of this year’s Green Gala, which is slated for Sept. 13, 2019 at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.

Green Gala celebrates the environment and raises operational funds for MINA’s programs such as marine debris prevention, Schools for Environmental Conservation, and the Tasi Watch Ranger Program.

Lindsay (Eunji) Ahn, CSR facilitator for E-Land, spoke on behalf of their organization: “We are pleased to take a sponsorship opportunity again this year. We appreciate all the endeavors of MINA for this community, particularly the past year having been such a challenge for all of us.”

In addition to E-land’s annual participation in the Green Gala, their group of companies also supports MINA’s Adopt-a-Bin program, which is a large component of MINA’s program on marine debris prevention and building on the culture of recycling in the CNMI.

This year’s Green Gala will be centered around MINA’s Bring Back Our Trees campaign, and features entertainment, a buffet dinner, cash bar and bottle service, a silent auction and raffle with the grand prize of a round-trip economy class ticket courtesy of United Airlines via Guam/Honolulu to any one of United’s destinations.

For more information or to purchase tickets to the Gala, call 233-7333. (PR)
