Military trainings set
SANTA RITA, Guam—Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training from 11am to 11:55pm on July 29 through Aug. 1 at the Dandan-Malojloj training site in Inarajan.
HSC-25 will also conduct training at Radio Barrigada during the following dates and times:
• From 6pm to 1am, July 30-31
• From 3pm to 1am, July 31 through Aug. 1
• From 6pm to 11:55pm, Aug. 1
Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. The public should be advised that routine helicopter training, often accompanied with the use of blanks, can occur during these trainings.
The 94th Civil Support Team of the Guam National Guard, 1224th Engineer Support Company, and 442nd Infantry Regiment will also be conducting training at Radio Barrigada during the following dates:
• 94th CST, from July 29 through Aug. 2
• 1224th ESC, from Aug. 2 to 4
• 442nd INF, from Aug. 4 to 6
The U.S. Air Force will conduct training from 11am to 1pm on July 29 through Aug. 1 at the island of Farallon de Medinilla.
The general location of the training will be within a 12-nautical-mile radius of the island.
The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises from 3pm to 9pm on Aug. 1, within a 10-nautical-mile radius of the following coordinates: 13˚26’’N/145˚08’’E and 13˚42’’N/144˚36’’E.
It is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. (PR)
