Military training in Guam, FDM, open ocean
ASAN, Guam—Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training on Sept. 3-5, from 11am to 11:55pm, at the Dandan-Malojloj training site in Inarajan.
HSC-25 will also conduct training today, Sept. 3, from 8pm to 11:55pm, at Radio Barrigada.
HSC-25 will also conduct joint training with the 644th Combat Communications Squadron on Sept. 6-16, from 12:01am to 12pm at Radio Barrigada.
The 797th Ordnance Company will also be conducting training Squadron on Sept. 4-8, from 4am to 1pm at Radio Barrigada.
These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed, if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. The public should be advised that routine helicopter training, often accompanied with the use of blanks, can occur during these trainings.
The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on Sept. 3-5, from 10:30am to 2:30pm at the island of Farallon de Medinilla.
This training supports aircrew combat readiness and is critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be within a 12-nautical-mile radius of the island.
The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises on Sept. 4-5, from 6pm to 10pm within a 10-nautical-mile radius of the following coordinates: 13˚26’’N/145˚08’’E and 13˚42’’N/144˚36’’E.
It is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. (PR)
