Micro Games volleyball tryouts
Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association is calling all interested players to attend a two-day tryout for the CNMI national teams that will be playing in the 9th Micronesian Games in Yap.
The tryouts, for both men’s and women’s, will take place on April 14 and 15 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium from 4pm to 7pm. Players must be 16 years old or older to attend the weekend tryouts.
From the pool, NMIVA will make the initial selection (Top 20 per each squad) before choosing the final roster (10 each). NMIVA have until May 1 (Northern Marianas Sports Association deadline) to name the members of the CNMI men’s and women’s national volleyball teams.
Selected volleyball players will join the basketball, indoor volleyball, spearfishing, athletics, weightlifting, and baseball squads on Team Marianas in the 9th Micronesian Games that will be held from July 15 to 27.
