Micro Games registration due on June 15
COLONIA, Yap—Online registration for all athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers for the 2018 Micro Games will close on June 15.
Each country is responsible for registering their participants in advance to ensure their accreditation upon arrival at the Micro Games, which will take place from July 15 to 27.
The Federated States of Micronesia National Olympic Committee is assisting the Yap Organizing Committee with the registration through a financial aid of $5,000, which is used to pay the costs of the Australian-based website used for the registration.
To assist all of the FSM States with properly registering their teams, including athletes who reside outside each of the states, but will be competing on their respective state, the FSMNOC is also sending Lestly Ashby Mendiola to Kosrae, Chuuk and Yap to help take photos of the teams, coaches and officials and provide assistance with the online registration process.
Jim Tobin, FSMNOC secretary general, requested that the chef de missions in those states select someone with IT and photo skills to work with Mendiola during her stay. The June 15 deadline will be adhered to and the online registration will be closed on that date.
