Both MYWAVE clubs of Saipan Southern High School and Marianas High School took part in an island tour on March 4, 2017, that was sponsored by Marianas Tourism Education Council and Marianas Visitor’s Authority.

The group of 36 students and advisers—Rory Starkey and Rose Ajoste from SSHS and Marizel Hiponia from MHS—toured Saipan’s destination sites including Sugar King Park, Bird Island, and Last Command Post.

Kensington Hotel also provided a tour of their facilities, informing students of their different guest services and room types.  The excursion was followed by lunch at Micro Beach.

Club members and advisors thank MTEC and MVA for their generous donation and assistance to make this a great learning and memorable experience. “Additionally, thank you to Kensington Hotel, Tasi Tours, and Pizza Hut for their accommodations and services,” the students said in a statement. (PR)
