Volunteers from Medquest Medical Supply and Upper Room International Ministry participated in the 2022 International Coastal Cleanup.

The two groups chose San Isidro Beach Park as their site for the 2022 ICC and they picked up trash from 8am to 10pm last Saturday.

In all, 24 volunteered for the groups’ ICC and they were able to collect 90 lbs of trash.

The Top 3 trash picked up by Medquest Medical Supply and Upper Room International Ministry volunteers were cigarette butts, micro trash like food wrappers, and plastic water bottles.

Medquest Medical Supply and Upper Room International Ministry teamed up to join this event as a social responsibility. Both believed that this program provides a fun and easy way to volunteer and engage with their mission to protect our environment.

“Being a part of this event makes you feel more connected to nature. While it is so disheartening to see trash in the sea and along the shoreline, the great news is that we can do something about it to help our environment,” said Medquest Medical Supply’s Ellen Joy P. Dionisio.

Upper Room International Ministry was led by pastor Danilo Ibanez. (PR)
