McDonald’s Saipan and Guam donated $3,000 to the upcoming Marianas March Against Cancer yesterday.

McDonald’s has shown endless support toward various community events and MMAC is no exception.

According to McDonald’s Middle Road manager Joe Ayuyu Jr., McDonald’s is always happy to give back to the community by supporting events such as the MMAC.

Ayuyu said that McDonald’s continues to support events like the MMAC in hopes that their act of support will result in a ripple effect so other businesses can follow suit and give back to the community through donations as well.

Commonwealth Cancer Association executive director Juan Lizama Babauta said he is extremely grateful for the continuous support that MMAC receives from McDonald’s and the Ayuyu family.

The Marianas March Against Cancer is set for May 11 and will be held at the Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Middle School field from 5:30pm to 5:30am.
