Mayor’s office looking for host families

The Saipan Mayor’s Office is looking for host families to take care of visiting students from Japan.

The Sanpoen group is set to visit Saipan from July 26 to Aug. 1, 2018 and will take part in the annual lantern ceremony in memory of the Japanese who perished during World War II.

The second group, Kokusai Seishonen Kenshu Kyokai, will be on Saipan from Aug. 3 to Aug. 9, 2018.

For the KSKK, the mayor’s office is politely asking for a host family to assist them with transportation (pick up and drop off) and meals (breakfast and dinner during the weekdays). They will stay with their host family for the whole duration of their stay.

For those who are interested in hosting the Japanese students, visit the Saipan Mayor’s Office or call 234-6208.
