Bud Light and Budweiser management renewed their commitment to the local darts and billiards leagues by presenting an annual sponsorship check to the Saipan Electronic Darts Association (SEDA) and Saipan Billiards Association (SBA).

MARPAC general manager Guy Pudney and Ambros, Inc. Guam sales manager Tim Aguon presented a $5,000 check to SEDA/SBA leagues secretary Warlee T. Ellama and Pacific Amusement comptroller Cecile A. Vivero.

Pacific Amusement, SEDA, SBA, and their players are very thankful for MARPAC’s continuous support.

MARPAC has been the two sports’ supporter for over 20 years and the donation will cover the costs of the trophies and other administrative expenses in organizing the SEDA and SBA leagues.

The two leagues are managed by Pacific Amusement with the help of MARPAC, Bud Light, and Budweiser. With these assistance, the leagues grow significantly, giving dart and billiard players the opportunity to enjoy camaraderie and competition among themselves.

More than 3,000 players have participated in the darts league since SEDA began in 1993. SEDA and SBA have a total of 62 teams with over 300 participants.

League play is year around at the following Saipan locations: Jonny’s Bar & Grill, VFW Post 3457, Safehouse, Sands Café & Bar, Oleai Beach Bar, Chow Time Restaurant, Naked Fish Bar & Grill, 6JMS Sport’s Bar & Grill, 9 Eleven Resto Bar, Nipa Hut Restaurant, and Tasha’s Chicken. Both leagues have room for every skill level, even beginners. Games are played from Monday through Thursday all over Saipan. (PR)
