Marpac Distributors Inc. donated essential items through the Ayuda Luta Rota Relief Drive last Saturday at the Garapan Fishing Base..

Cases of Scott toilet tissue and paper towels, Off insect repellent, Huggies wipes, and WypAll towels and trash bags were among the items that Marpac donated for families affected by Typhoon Mangkhut on Rota.

Typhoon Mangkhut devastated the CNMI, most especially Rota, on Sept. 10.

“We know what it’s like to go through and struggle after a storm, with us just experiencing it three years ago after Typhoon Soudelor hit us,” said Marpac resident manager Guy Pudney. “When it was us, we received a big outpouring of support, so we just tried to do our part and donate essential items that we know our neighbors [on] Rota would need. We’re very happy that we were able to contribute.”

Marpac also thanked those who organized the Ayuda Luta Rota Relief Drive that made their donation possible. (Marpac)
