HAGATNA, Guam—On Sunday, Aug. 2, Typhoon Soudelor devastated the CNMI, causing severe damage to homes and businesses. Residents are currently without power and water, and are also experiencing a shortage of food and fuel.

In an effort to assist those affected by Typhoon Soudelor, Marpac Inc. and Ambros, Inc. (Guam) will be donating $10,000 to American Red Cross.

Ambros, Inc. general manager Tom Shimizu explained, “Our friends, family and neighbors in the CNMI need our help. As a family-owned company rooted deep within the community, we had to act. These donated funds will be used to provide urgently needed supplies.”

Ambros Inc. is located in Guam; Marpac Distributors is located on Saipan; Shimbros International is located in Palau; and Sopac Distributors is located in American Samoa. (Ambros)
