Marine missing in Guam identified

USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6), at sea—U.S. Marine Corps officials have identified the Marine who went missing while swimming near Tumon Bay while on liberty in Guam as Pfc. Joshua J. Stewart, 20, of Sutter Creek, California.

Stewart is part of Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, based in Okinawa Japan.

The search for Stewart continues as the Marines, Navy and Coast Guard work together with Guam Fire and Rescue and local authorities to comb the area. Aerial and surface teams are involved in the search. (Marine Corps Activity Guam)
