Are you looking for a new outdoor hobby or sport? Looking to supplement your workout with something new? Paddling outrigger canoe is an excellent way to strengthen your upper body and target your back, arms, shoulders, and core. Increase your strength and endurance, meet some new people, and experience the lagoon from a different perspective!

Marianas Pacific Paddlers is inviting all interested ladies to come down and paddle! If you are a beginner, no problem! Practices will cover proper technique, form, paddling safety, and etiquette.

The new sports organization is looking for women 18 years old and older (swimming skills preferred) to join them.

The first practice will be held this Monday, April 6, 5pm in the waters off Kilili Beach in Oleai. Monday and Wednesday are the practice days.

Those interested are advised to bring water, swimwear, a hat, sunscreen, paddle (if you have one), and a positive attitude!

For more information, call Gretchen at 789-0501 or Dana at 789-8801. You can also email Leilani DLG Nielsen at heavymana@gmail.com or call her at 483-3922. (PR)
