Marianas Medical Center, one of the CNMI’s top family practice clinics, announced yesterday the appointment of Polly DLG Masga as general manager.  Masga will be overseeing all day-to-day operations of the clinic. Masga was previously the human resources manager for Pacific Islands Club, where she oversaw more than 300 employees on various aspects of HR. “One of my strengths is helping employees become the best they can be, by providing them with a work environment that is fun, safe and educated,” Masga said.

Dr. Tony Stearns, Medical Director of MMC, stated, “Anytime we can bring in a talent like Polly to our team it is of great benefit. Her skill set really complements what we feel is important.”

Marianas Medical Center was founded by Stearns in 1998. It provides a full range of medical services for the entire family, including preventive healthcare, acute and chronic care for both adults and children, prenatal and women’s healthcare, food handler exams, green card exams and more.  MMC’s friendly, professionally certified staff has multiple language skills, including Chamorro, English, Tagalog, Chinese, and Korean.

Masga, talking about her new opportunity said, “I am so excited to be part of the Marianas Medical Center team. I’ve worked with them over the years and have been impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of the staff.”

While Masga’s main experience has been in Human Resources, she states, “I have a lot to learn in this exciting field, and the fact that we are all about helping others.  To me, that is the most rewarding part of this job.” (MMC)
