Marianas Insurance offers $5,000 hole-in-one prize for golf tourney
Marianas Insurance Co., Ltd. is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize for the 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament on March 18, 2017.
“For the past several years, Marianas Insurance has supported the NMC Foundation’s efforts to raise funds for student programs, facilities, and services,” said Marianas Insurance general manager Lillian S. Cabrera. “We are excited to be a part of this year’s tournament again and wish all the golfers luck!”
The NMC Foundation is composed of volunteers committed to expanding higher education opportunities for the people of the CNMI. The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“We are thankful for Marianas Insurance’s unwavering support of the college,” said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez.
“The hole-in-one prizes donated by Marianas Insurance as well as the other prizes also worth thousands of dollars fuels the excitement of the event,” said Mary Tenorio, NMC Foundation board chair.
The 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort (east course). Show time is at 6am and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights will each receive $500 cash, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers.
