Marianas Cup featured in mag

Year-round sports activities in the Northern Marianas continue to gain international attention, as Japan’s Beach Volleyball Style magazine returns to Saipan on Feb. 21-24, 2014, to cover the Marianas Cup.

The cup attracted local and international professional and amateur athletes and will be featured in the May 2014 issue of the publication. Beach Volleyball Style targets professional and amateur volleyball players in their 20s to 40s with techniques and player profiles. The magazine has a circulation of 5,000 and is released quarterly. The Marianas Cup is scheduled to have a five-page spread in May.

“The Marianas Cup is one of the more popular, well-organized sporting events the Marianas Visitors Authority is pleased to support, especially for the media coverage it draws year after year,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “We congratulate the organizers on another success event this year and look forward to another article this year by Beach Volleyball Style.”

The media tour was also supported by Fiesta Resort & Spa and Mariana Resort & Spa. (MVA)
