Marianas Creations reopens tomorrow

Marianas Creations is back in business starting tomorrow after eight months of closing its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Owner Elina Gharti Chhetri said they timed their re-opening with the upcoming Christmas season.
“The holidays are getting closer and we would love our local community to have the option of choosing and supporting local products as their holiday gifts for their friends and family. Also, the CNMI community has been at condition blue with no community transmission for several months that is why we feel confident that we can provide a safe environment for our customers while they enjoy local products.”
A café and mini pub located along Micro Beach Road, Marianas Creations is known for promoting local products, artists, and events.
“Health and safety is our top priority and we require all of our customers to wear masks before entering our establishment and use hand sanitizer. We have deep-cleaned our shop after we shut down due to the public health emergency, hand sanitizers are available on every table, and we will be cleaning our tables repeatedly during and after our business hours,” said Chhetri.

Part of their plans is re-opening with several new items on their food menu. “Of course, all of these new food items will include local ingredients. We will also have happy hour specials from 4pm to 6pm and we encourage everyone to stay tuned to our social media pages for information about upcoming features and specials,” Chhetri added.
“Due to social distancing limitation, we won’t be hosting any special events initially. We care about the health and safety of our community but we hope to gradually increase our business hours and resume our special events…Our goal here is to see how the community responds and we hope to change our business hours back to being open daily… When the [Governor’s] COVID-19 Task Force transitions the community to condition green, we will welcome all of our fans back,” Chhetri added.
