Mariana Resort & Spa donated $1,540 to the islands’ non-profit pageant and talent group, Stellar Marianas, yesterday afternoon in Marpi.

Marianas Resort general manager Gloria Cavanagh and property manager Charlene Babauta presented the check to Stellar Marianas members led by president Laila Boyer.

Cavanagh noted that Marianas Resort decided to raise money for Stellar Marianas by selling optional game cards, mulligan, putts, and a hand wedge.

“We decided to raise money for the Stellar Marianas through our golf tournament that we held last Saturday before our 36th anniversary party,” Cavanagh said.

Boyer was thankful and grateful for the generous donation received from Mariana Resort.

“We thank Mariana Resort because it shows that they are a strong community partner in making contributions,” Boyer said.
